In 2001, LBC undertook the responsibility of sending out Nicky and Beverly Barnett as missionaries to Thailand. While there, they discipled a young couple named Brent and Tawm Rosendal. After the Barnetts retuned to the states, LBC became the sending church for Brent. Living in Chiang Mai Thailand, Brent and Tawm helped in the planting of Antioch Baptist Church. Since then, Antioch has started a Bible Institute and has sent out three missionaries to other parts of Thailand among the hill tribes. They also became parents to a son named Owen. Antioch has been growing steadily and is currently looking for land to purchase.
